C T E T, U G C - N E T, C S I R - N E T, Ph.D. : Conceptions and Misconceptions

Welcome to this blog.

Your blogger is UGC-NET (JRF too) qualified in Education (twice) and Population Studies. Blogger has also qualified CSIR-NET in Mathematical Sciences. Moreover, the blogger is having a teaching-learning experience of more than Nine years from School level to University level.
In this series of discussion, we will discuss what are the various conceptions and misconceptions regarding need, qualification, options, format, schemes, passing criterion and so on, with respect to several exams/tests...
So, just for beginning, the abbreviation CTET stands for 'Central Teacher Eligibity Test', a requirement to become the teacher currently upto middle school level, in addition to academic/professional qualifications like diploma/degree in education.
In coming discussions, we will not limitize ourselves upto CTET only, but also talk about PRT, TGT, PGT, Vice Principal's qualifications, criterion, how to choose the academic and professional career in education, college/university teachers etc.
So continue reading this series of blog, regularly.
Please feel free to ask any question regarding your career, profession, studies and eligibility for EDUCATIONAL field, even UGC-NET, too.

  1. Most of us develop misconceptions related to NET-JRF examination,Ph.D. admission,recruitments to various teaching posts such as TGT, PGT, Assistant professor,etc. Starting a blog disscussion on such topics will surely be helpful and useful to all in general, and to freshers in particular.
